    Is the IRS currently accepting e-filed 2019 Form 1040 returns or do I need to paper file it?

    Lacerte validated the Fed e-file, but I thought IRS was not accepting e-file until the new year?

    The IRS has closed up shop until the new e-filing season starts in January.
