Intuit Link - Engagement Lettters

Hi,

We noticed just after inviting all clients to Intuit Link for the year that there was one incorrect date in the Engagement Letter. Is there a way to go in and edit what was sent out to the clients in Intuit Link like you can with a request?

Alternately, what's the best way to add an Engagement Letter as a request in Intuit Link without all of the clients getting an email? Though not ideal, we could go in an delete the incorrect one and add a new one...

Totally a case of checked SO many times that they eyes just totally skipped it on this one, but we want to get it right.

Thanks!

You can edit the EL by logging into Intuit Link and going to that client's record for TY2020.  Unfortunately, this is not a batch process, which means you will have to edit it for each client one by one.

  • Under the Requests tab, look for the line item with a document icon with some lines on the paper (as opposed to a blank document icon).  That's the item for EL.
  • Click on Edit under ACTIONS, edit the content, and hit Save.

Alternatively, you can delete the existing EL as you proposed and use Add Request to create a new one.  Again, it's an ad-hoc process you will need to go through with each client.  If it is the first time you are creating an EL, you should also click on the Notify Client button before exiting Intuit Link so that your client will be made aware of the new action item.
