importing data from financial institution not connecting

I tried clearing Internet Explorer after 90 minutes with Lacerte tech who doesn't know why. I don't get an error message. I am in Canada, I tried VPN that didn't solve the problem. I have the latest version of the software. I tried 1099 - DIV, and 1099 - B, and 1099 INT.

I am selecting Import Client Data from Accounts Now. 

Anything else to try?

Unless you have a whole lot of transactions or 1099's, it's not worth the time.

I agree with ITONewbie - You can enter the data manually much quicker than the 90 minutes spent, unsuccessfully trying to do the download. You can attach PDF for multiple stock sales.
