Currently, Lacerte doesn't support Form 8978 for Form 1040. As a result, the return must be filed as a paper return. Given the backlog at the IRS, they are strongly encouraging e-filing of all returns.  Do you expect Lacerte to include Form 8978 in the e-file for the 2021 tax year?

With ERC, I expect we will have more and more of these adjustments.

This will become increasingly relevant as the K-1s come out with all of the pass-thru changes.   March 15 we will be needing this form a lot.

Any update here? Is Lacerte still not planning on offering this form or the efiling of it?
