i worked on individual tax return for 8 hours and my assistance tried log in to that file, so instead of software saying it is busy or someone else is using this file, the entire file got deleted. unfortunately my programs don't get back up until late at night and i lost 8 hours of work. the file shows up but absolutely no info in it expect for client name and address
Lacerte has an autosave function (settings, options, setup, numeric detail...last option). Unless you disabled that, your file should be *somewhere*.
