Can the software allow for entry of basis information on the deprec direct input screen for purposes of calculating the Sec 199A information to be shown on the return?

No, but there are other entry points for what you want depending on where you are working from. e.g. For Sch C it is at the bottom of Screen 16. For 1065 it is in Schedule K, Other. Add a comment and I may be able to guide you.

Currently we're working on partnerships. We use as separate software for depreciation for some of our clients with a significant amount of assets. We found the entry location on the 1065 input screen Thank you.
