Answering No to Schedule M-1 Adjustments for Refundable Employment Credits Disables ERC

CECIII
Level 2

Attempting to amend 2020 1120 for Employee Retention Credits. When I answer No to the Schedule L miscellaneous option to "Schedule M-1 adjustments for refundable employment tax return credits" The Deduction input field "Less employee retention credit claimed on employment tax returns" appears to become disabled. Answering No on the Schedule M-1 adjustment for ERC makes the ERC wage deduction input inactive.

When will this be fixed? I have amended 1120S and and 1065s for ERC and checked this option and not seen this behavior before.

Contacted support. They explained the 2020 1120 program is defective and they are not going to fix it. Said to ignore the ERC credit input and simply reduce wages by the ERC credit amount. All other state adjustments must be entered manually.
