Mark the rental (screen 18) as "delete next year".

ASSUMING that the sale was a "fully taxable transaction".

And where you report the sale, mark the Complete disposition box (assuming that is correct as Anna mentioned)

If YOU don't understand, then ask for more info.

Now you have me entirely confused.  I am a very long term Lacerte user and it is extremely rare that I have sought assistance.  I have no idea of protocols with this......this has made it an uncomfortable experience for me and I will not bother you guys again.
