EFILE STATUS ERROR

I COPIED A TAX REUTRN THAT HAD BEEN ALREADY E-FILE.  NOW THE NEW TAX RETURN CAN'T BE EFILED, SINCE LACERTE THINKS IT HAS ALREADY BEEN SUBMITTED.  I USED EFILE SUPPORT TOOLS,  BUT THAT DOESN'T WORK.  WHAT SHOULD I DO ???

efile support tools > remove efile from queue.

If that doesn't work, are you sure you didn't actually submit the return?

Once a 1040 has been e-filed, that is the end of the tale. No 2nd go for 1040. Is that the type of return you are trying to file again? Did you mean to file an extension first time and accidently filed the return? If so, you get to do a paper 1040X (plus whatever is required for the state). 

If you were no doing a 1040, what type of return are you working with?

You copied the return? Did you change the client number when you copied? How did you copy?
