Noncash contributions reported on Form 8283 do not equal total noncash contributions reported on Schedule A. Noncash contributions entered in the Itemized Deduction input screen (screen 25) must be removed and re-entered in the 8283 input screen (screen 26) instead.
Solution:
Noncash contributions should not be reported on Detail screen 25 and 26 Use only one of these screens to apply the information to de-trigger the diagnostic. This diagnostic is not e-file critical and will not prevent e-file if ignored.
