941 Line 14 is Blank or Schedule B will not Print

Problem Description

No amount is reported on 941 line 14 or Schedule B does not print. Solution Description

  1. Per the IRS form 941 instructions, if the amount on Line 10 is less than $2500,  amounts on Line 14 and/or Schedule B should be blank.
    • The first box of line 14 will be checked, indicating a liability under $2500.
  2. If Semi-Weekly depositor is selected, line 14 will be blank and the Schedule B will print instead.
    • Print All Pages icon, which is just to the right of the Printer icon, must be selected to print all the pages generated.
  3. The information for line 14 and Schedule B comes from payroll transactions.
    • If payroll information was entered directly on the Employee's Earnings Records tabs:
      • Line 14 and Schedule B will not be calculated by the program.
      • Manually complete the  Daily Tax Liability table on the Form 941 input screen.

NOTE! The Schedule B requires 2 conditions to generate:

  1. The total liability for the quarter must be greater than $2,500.
  2. It must be a Semi- Weekly Depositor.

A Schedule B cannot be forced in EasyACCT if the above 2 conditions are not met.  This is per IRS instructions: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i941.pdf
