Understanding Form 114 E-File Acknowledgments

After you electronically file Form 114, you can expect one of three basic acknowledgment statuses. These acknowledgments are displayed in your ProConnect Tax Online E-File Dashboard, just like those issued for tax returns. However, the meaning and handling of 114 acknowledgments differ from that of "traditional" income tax returns. Click on each status below for details.

This status indicates that Form 114 was successfully e-filed and no other action is required.
This status indicates that the electronically submitted Form 114 was received by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), but errors in the filing were identified. You must correct the errors and e-file an amended Form 114 for the client.

The Frm 114 Conditional Accept status is a hyperlink, similar to a reject issued for an income tax return. Click on the status to display the e-file history and view information on the error(s) that caused the conditional acceptance.

Once you resolve the error(s), you can e-file an amended Form 114 through the same tax return.
This status should only be returned in rare circumstances and is typically handled by the Intuit Electronic Filing Center. If you receive this status, click on the status hyperlink on your E-File Dashboardto find additional information and instructions on how to proceed.
