If a client uses an IRS PIN in a prior year, can we get a diagnostic flagging that we've failed to enter one this year?
I use the Practitioners PIN (auto generated with the last 5 digits of the SSN) on all returns, regardless of what they used the prior year. Never had an issue.
I think @mh54904 means the Identity Protection PIN
