How do I get my full explanation of changes in the explanation section of the amended, 1040x?
@Don DeeWhich tax product do you use? You have posted this under Suggestion for product enhancement but it sounds more like you have a question about how to use the software.
Its got the same amount of lines as its always had.
If it doesnt all fit and you're filing it on paper, you could attach an additional sheet.
If you're Efiling it, start abbreviating things, or dial it back to the bare facts about the change, its not an essay question.
Same here. We would attach a statement if there is not sufficient space on the 1040X for explanation.
