It would be great if Lacerte would allow non-preparer staff to access Lacerte for free.
I'm not willing to pay a price for my receptionist to be able to tell if a return has been filed and it's a drain on preparer staff
And they (Lacerte) would know this exactly how?
That it is just a lowly receptionist accessing the program?
Hardly "lowly" but would it be so hard to create a secondary level of access to view a return and check its status?
Of allow staff to change an address, telephone # or email address?
