I tell you IRonMaN, you must have the nose of a bloodhound.  My little girl scout dropped off a case on Thursday.  Haven't opened it yet as I'm trying to fight off a bug that another client so willing shared with me last week. Popping vitamin C every couple of hours hoping for the best.  Will wait to open cookies until I can really enjoy the expensive little devils.
Hmmm, maybe it is because I usually generate the 8332 from the non-custodial parents return, they get the signature and return to me.  And I always have a generated 8453.
So you just ignore the 8453 that generates with the return when selecting form 8332?
I was not aware that we could attach the 8332's as pdfs.  That would definitely save time and postage.  Is it comparable to attaching the 1099 info forms for schedule D?  With those there is a box to ... See more...

I sure hope this is coming soon.  I have quite a stack of IA returns waiting on the fix, really messes up the filing system.

Since the non-custodial parents only recourse (starting with 2008)  is to take the custodial parent to court.  I now file the non-custodial with kids (no signed 8332) and let it reject, then refile without the kids so that client's attorney has a copy of what the return should have been, the reject notice, and copy of the return without the kids they should have been able to claim.  Yes they have to spend money to go to court to get the money but it seems to work.  In a couple of cases the client's attorney has been able to uses this to get it settled without going to court.
Is that one your clients?

Okay I see the enter date check box in the middle of the 8879,  Since I never look at the 8879 until it is printed that is annoying.  Maybe checking one will make it global but probably not.  I do have the one Rick mentioned that prints on page 2 of the 1040 checked.  Probably just a dehancement.  Just like they have the expiration date on the driver's license info set so that you have to enter  xx/xx/xxxx.  If you use xx/xx/xx like everyother entry it enters 19xx.  Come on, do you know anyone who has a driver's licence that expires in the 20th century.  I am in Iowa, one of three states that will not transfer the info forward.  I mean how hard can that be for a progammer to fix?

You are just trying to humor me out of my crabbiness........
I was assembling a stack of folders for pick up this morning and noticed that date after the ERO's signature is not printing this year.  Is there a reason for this or just another glitch?
