The 2023 partnership forms added Schedule K-1, question K3 regarding partner guarantees. If this box is checked, Line 20, code X is required. Lacerte will check the box for question K3 but does not address the requirement for Line 20, code X. I called Lacerte and they seemed to have no knowledge of this change. Has anyone worked on a partnership return with this issue and if so, how are you handling?
