I do primarily Alabama and they already exclude Unemployment.  I have to go to the Other income worksheet on the state and make a manual adjustment to add back the exclusion amount.
I do primarily Alabama and I have just been adding it back in the Other income worksheet to zero out the exclusion (-$10,200).

For years we were under the impression that if you could e-file a prior year return you could ask for and receive a direct deposit.  Recently looking through the FAQ for split direct deposit on the IRS website we noticed a one line sentence on the last question about splitting a refund for a prior year that states that direct deposit is not authorized on prior year returns. Can any one confirm that you cannot receive a direct deposit?  We have never had a client come back and say they received a check and not a direct deposit. Just curious.   Thanks in advance.

Just looking for a little confirmation on inputting this in ProSeries. I have filled out the Form 5074 and attached the PDF. I have input the W-2GU as I would a regular W-2. Is there anything I am missing to ensure Guam and US IRS get there respective information correctly?

I had that problem when trying to print Alabama with a Louisiana return attached.  Every time it started to print the Louisiana inside the Alabama it would crash completely. I eventually just printed each return individually instead of trying to have ProSeries print the file copy of the return.
