The IRS is NOT "helping" anyone with this.
The IRS is simply following what they were TOLD TO DO when this was voted on/put in place by Congress.
The reconciliation of the payment on the 2020 tax return has ALWAYS been the plan.
As any/all PROFESSIONAL TAX PREPARERS KNOW.
@Intuit ANYBODY. You really, really need to lock this up. It's getting to be ludicrous.
