Does it change the outcome of the return? If so, then yes. If not, then no.

it changed it by 125.00 fed and 7.00 state.
do i send the whole return with the 1040x or just sent the 1040x with the document that the change was made for

You send the 1040 and any forms or schedules that also changed from the original. Is there any withholding on the 1099g? If so, Id attach it to the 1040X, if not, don't attach it.

State and federal would be 2 separate returns, yes. Did you prepare the state amended return as well?

i use proseries and it didnt print anything for state just changed it. is there a form need?

i did a IT40X and it calculated no change. so then i don't need to do state then right?
