I have two state returns filed on Tuesday. Federal returns accepted. Proseries lists as sent to state but no further communication for 3 days. General there is an hour lag but days? is this a case of patience or is there some holdup somewhere on state or intuit?

The same problem is happening on some different tax software. Had Kansas, Alabama & New Mexico waiting.
Finally Kansas went through, then a few days later Alabama, New Mexico still sitting there.

I finally decide to call New Mexico Taxation & Revenue. They said that they will be about 2 weeks behind in accepting returns. Also, Refunds could take up to 12 weeks.
This is far out of their normal. I have been doing taxes in NM for 40 years and e-filing since it became available and there has never been this kind of lag.

Thanks for the information, I wish they would publish that on their web site. State of NM is usual turnaround is 3 to 5 days.
