What's the alternative to efile without e-signature in pro-connect tax online? I have a few clients that don't have PC access nor emails. How can I efile their taxes without the e-signature. Print it and have them sign it then what? (they're receiving a refund).

Print it, have them sign it, have them return it to you, and then e-file. Either put the signed 8879 in a file or scan it to make a pdf of it to store on your computer.

But given that you don't actually need to submit the Form 8879, can't you just get the client to sign it, scan it/keep it on file, and then Efile the return? You don't really need to upload it to Proconnect at all really. Or am I missing something?

I think you did miss something. No one said it had to be uploaded to PTO. The preparer does need to have it before the returns can be efiled.
