Where do I enter amounts in Box 4 of Form SSA-1099  Benfits repaid to SSA ? In the description it says "Deductions for work or other adjustments " Does this get included at all ?

Box 5 is the amount to enter into Lacerte. The Box 4 amount has already been netted against Box 3 in arriving at Box 5.

@PhoebeRoberts I believe box 4 be netted against box 5 only if they are repaying this years funds. If for a previous year, if under $3000 it can't be recovered, and if over $3000 I believe you can deduct. Haven't done one in quite awhile, and would have to research how. Used to put small amounts on schedule A Misc deductions, but that is now gone
