Since Texas individuals (1040's) and businesses (1120's) have an automatic extension to 06-15-2021, they do not have to file forms 4868 or 7004 by 04-15-2021. However, if they want an extension beyond 06-15-2021 they will have to file Forms 4868 or 7004. Will ProSeries allow me to file Forms 4868 and 7004 past 04-15-2021 for my Texas based clients. ProSeries is not allowing me to do that for my Texas 1065 clients to file Forms 7004 after 03-15-2021. The error message is that you cannot file Form 7004 after 03-15-2021 for 1065's. The message is incorrect for Texas based businesses that have an automatic extension to 06-15-2021, They should be able to file Forms 7004 up to 06-15-2021. When is ProSeries going to update the software to take this into consideration.
