I know there was a notice about this PTIN issue, but I ignored it when it was first posted.

1. How do I find old warnings?

2. What do I do about this e-file error message?

Tools, Options, Firm/Preparer there will be a box in pink that needs you to check.

Once you do that your PTIN is verified.

To see previous Alert messages  click on the pretty red "sun" on right end of icon bar

And all of this time, I thought I was the only one that received alerts.

Well, what the heck ------------ 🍹

Aghh.. You mean the one that says "Alerts" beside it?

Sorry, Covid brain and general angst about the whole season.

Thank you, I see that now in the alerts ( now that I've found them ) as well.

FYI - I had a filed a number of returns and there was no problem.  This morning a 1120S went through, then this error message.  Inconsistent.  I fixed it and all seems OK.

ahhhhh but inconsistency is the name of the game this year.

Glad you were able to fix your problem quickly.

Then just look for an "un-pink" box that says PTIN verified

The 'pink' has probably faded in the last (almost) two years.

Also I get a PTIN verified error in Federal Final Review.  The PTIN verified box has been checked for many months, so this should not be an error.

Try unchecking and then checking it again.
