2020 is the first year i plan to switch to a MAC computer from a PC. Does the software convert history fro me.?

As you may already be aware, ProSeries doesn't run on Mac, so nothing will convert. Your options would be to install Windows on the Mac for dual boot with Boot Camp or to be run as a client within Mac OS using VirtualBox. Either way, you'd need to reinstall PS on Mac, with Windows running.
