@DCIAre you sure PS automatically flows these numbers from F.8621 at all?  Even Lacerte/PTO doesn't flow anything other than 1291INT to Sch 2 and 1291TAX you plug in to F.1040 Line 12a.  I would really be impressed if PS can do a better job than Lacerte/PTO for PFIC and that the numbers will actually flow to F.1116 given the rules on FTC wrt PFIC.
