Thanks to IRonMaN, TaxGuyBill, and dkh for helping me think this through. Since I have the digital backup of the file and a printed copy, I deleted the original file from HomeBase View. This has solved the duplicate SSN/EIN issue in the EF Center. We'll see what happens when we attempt to e-file the return. Appreciate your help with this!
