People started reporting this issue yesterday, both Lacerte and ProSeries (one person said its been happening for 3 days, but maybe it just feels that way)...its not just you.

You may want to call in and report it to support, someone else said they called in and Support wasnt aware of it, so the more people that call, the quicker it'll get fixed.

I also am receiving this error message. PLEASE CALL PROSERIES SUPPORT ASAP. Unless 

multiple users report the error, Proseries will not investigate.

For customer service and technical support,
please call 1-800-434-6818, Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM PT.

Your Customer Account Number will be needed.

Current hold times are 30 minutes.

Error X0000-005. Called the problem in they said they were working on it and maybe this would have to be a paper return but no I am afraid that if we send a paper return and then return goes trough there may be two returns filed for the same taxpayer

Just give it a few days for them to fix it, then everything will be back to normal, dont waste time filing on paper.
