Are Explanation Statements (click EXPLAIN box on form) sent with the efiled return? I've read that Itemization Statements don't and Preparer Notes do but I can't find anything about Explanation Statements. Thx.
It WILL be e-filed with return. I called support and she verified for me. She said it may not appear in print like it has gone but that it does get sent. Makes sense since the EXPLAIN button is part of the forms. But you know what they say about assuming things...
