I am running Windows 7 pro, but I would like to prepare a 2006 tax return.
I've downloaded the 2006 software but when I attempt to install I get an error message about Windows vista.
Is it safe to try and run the program on this pc?

You should be able to click through that notification and prepare the tax return.

2006 is safe. Window Vista is not.
