How do you get QBI income to pick up other income? I entered a 1099 in other income and checked self employment income but Lacerte isn't picking it up for QBI.

If is subject to SE tax, it belongs on a Schedule C. So put it on Schedule C.

Everyone gave you the correct answer already, but just to clarify. QBI = qualified business income. Business income is reported on a schedule C, not on line 21. You see where this is going right? There is no way to include line 21 income as QBI.
