For about the last 3 updates, I keep getting an error message at the end of the update pertaining to the CEF Inbound Firewall Rule. Message is "Lacerte Tax Setup was not able to start the spc authorization installer"
Program works OK, anything I should be concerned about, sounds security-ish.

have had exact same issue - and program seems to be working fine. Can anyone from Lacerte help. Called tech support and they said it had something to do with Windows 10 and they could not assist. Seemed like odd answer

Looks to be some kind of Windows certificate (Software Publisher Certificate, spc) so maybe some kind of authenticity check or confirmation. Does not seem to affect the program nor decrease security (I think).
