I'm trying to amend a 2019 DC return for a client. They received a refund on the original filing, but that amount is not being added into the new calculation and the amended Net Refund is too high. Has anyone ran into this and how do you go about fixing it?
Line 37 on the 2019 return is where the original refund shows up, but it's not subtracted from the new Net Refund. (This is the same as line 33 on the 2020 returns).

Does your amended 2019 return have an amount on Line 37?

Yes, there is an amount on line 37 - the refund that was originally paid back to the taxpayer on the original return.
