• Critical Diagnostics are generated when input is missing or present that will cause a return to be rejected or filed incorrectly.  Critical diagnostics that have to do with an electronically filed return will have "e-file" in front of them.  These diagnostics will prevent a return from being electronically filed until they are either cleared or bypassed.

So, unless the word "e-file" is there, you can still e-file.
