Have you updated the 2019 program?

Yes it works. I would not put it to work on a major scale yet. Try YOUR return to see how it works, mess with YOUR return in 2020 to see how it works, but wait til much later in the year to do proforma and organizer.
You likely need to update the 2019 program.

Last week I was able to roll over isolated files from 2019 to 2020 no problem.  Now when I try to roll over single files from 2019 to 2020 it gives me an error message in 2020 that says “invalid format”.  It leaves 2019 fine but doesn’t get into 2020. I'm hoping it's just a glitch right now - we need to do this with some files for Q4 estimated tax payments . . .

Somewhere there is a notice that both 2019 and 2020 need to be updated. If the search function worked I would point you to it.

Thank you all for the feedback. We checked both 2019 & 2020 programs and were not prompted to update (as usually happens) but we manually went to the update location and there was a 2020 update that had not been "pushed" to us. Once we installed that update the proforma function worked again.
