The Firm info needs to match your EFIN info that Intuit has on file (that's why you cant change it)....did you recently change your firm name/address and haven't updated your EFIN application with Intuit?

Only Intuit support can make a change to the Firm info...even if it is only change of address.  They do so, then you must download a new preparer file. 

THAT is how they control the licensing/use of the software.

I have NOT changed the EFIN.  do I need to do that with IRS first?
