You go into the State tab 55 and assign each spouse their state and the dates of their residence in those states. You may need rep access to calculate the tax returns, so I would change both of their social security numbers to 999-99-9999 to get a trial run tax return in case you have to process a MFS state return.

Thank you. I tried that. However, you can only list dates if you are filing a part year resident return for both states. I don't see an option to enter dates while filing a full year resident. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
