Intuit ProConnect ProSeries Document Management System (DMS) displays the following error towards the end of the installation:
Error installing Intuit Entitlement Client. Error Code 1603.
Solution Description
The error above can be generated by a corrupt user profile on the computer. Log into the computer as another user that has Administrator privileges, then perform the installation. A new user account may need to be created.
If using Windows 7, 8, or Vista, try right-clicking the DMSSETUP.exe file and choose Run as administrator.
If the issue persists, turn off Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and restart the computer. Once it comes back up, turn .NET 3.5 back on then attempt the DMS install again.
