How do I enroll in a cash advance program?
In order to participate in a cash advance program you will need to select this option during enrollment, or contact the bank to sign up later.
- Funding takes place after the IRS has accepted the tax return. This is known as a Post-Ack offering.
- What does it cost?
- TPG’s Fast Cash Advances program for refund advance loans eligible up to $500 and $1000. These loans are free to the taxpayer and cost the preparer $39.95. This fee can be waived through a $39.95 rebate at the end of tax season when the loan is disbursed and IRS-funded on a prepaid Green Dot card.
- Refund Advantage’s Taxpayer Advance Loan program for refund advance loans eligible up to $500 and $1000. These loans are free to the taxpayer and cost the preparer $40. This fee can be waived through a $40 rebate at the end of tax season when the loan is disbursed and IRS-funded on a FasterMoney Visa Prepaid Card.
- Contact the bank for further information.
