My husband is 65, still employed, had Covid in April and took $34,000 covid relief from 401K.  How do I split the disbursement into 3 years as is allowed by the Cares Act?  I've received the 1099R and it has the entire amount.

What software are you using?  We can't tell you how to enter it unless you tell us what software you are using.

I think you found the wrong Intuit.  I believe the below link is where you might want to be:

I have the same question and I use Intuit.  I can't see where to divide it or elect to.
