Has anyone used or seen a DocuPad in action?  It is amazing.  It was developed for the automotive industry to keep track of all their documents in sales and the million papers you have to have and sign when buying a vehicle.

DocuPad displays a Integrated Document Management is a complete, electronic document storage system. Eliminate the piles of paper overwhelming your archives. Save time with access to any document in seconds, letting you email, export, and print on demand. Barcode scanning lets you quickly file and organize documents, telling Integrated Document Management exactly where a scanned document needs to go. When documents are signed using the docuPAD® system,  those copies are instantly stored. Automatic purge settings ensure you are compliant with document retention requirements.

The benefits are

  • Save time by viewing documents on your computer instead of searching for hard copies.
  • Minimize cost spent on supplies, copies, and storage.
  • Reduce risk of misused, damaged, or stolen files with secure access to documents.
  • Take the stress out of audits with immediate access to archived documents.
  • Allow the experts to handle installation and maintenance with a hosted server option.
  • Clients can sign documents right on the DocuPad

Just was wondering if this is something we could use with Intuit for taxes?  Opinions welcome.
