Allow user to input negative numbers into detail calls: customer service hung up on me

GMinCA

It looks like Lacerte changed the ability of users to input negative numbers into fields such as Property Tax, IRA, SEP, mortgage interest.   It used to be so much easier for me to input the actual amount from a 1098 into the property tax or mtge interest field and then, in the next, instead of inputting a second payment to input a negative amount that reflected the property tax taken on home office or mtge interest allocated to a Sched C business.

Likewise, i used to be able to record the clients IRA contribution already made and then input negative amounts to 1) get the line to zero so i could 2) calculate the maximum sep contribution; this  allowed me to see which contribution was more beneficial without losing the history of the IRA amount already funded for the current year.

Bring back the ability to input negative amounts in line item details as long as the amount printing on the return does not go below zero.
